FLOAT HIRE POLICY | Agreement

A $100 bond is required in Cash on the day of hire/collection. 

Booking the float confirms you agree with and have read these terms and conditions.

The bond will be fully refunded upon return of the float in a clean and undamaged condition.

The float must be cleaned out before being returned, otherwise $25 will be deducted from the $100 bond to cover the cleaning costs.

We will require a copy of your driver license, please bring your license with you.  The float will only be hired to a fully licensed driver.  Only the named driver can tow the the float.

EXCESS:  $1000 excess in event of an accident or theft.

COST for HIRE: $45 for half day, $70 for full day.

In the event of an accident, Melwood Equestrian is to be notified immediately.  The named hire person will be responsible for all repairs to the float or the excess as outlined.

Any damage to the float is to be either repaired by the hirer or the excess paid to Melwood Equestrian.

If the float is unable to be returned on time, please contact Melwood Equestrian in case someone else has the float hired.  There will be an extra charge for lateness if the float is booked.

Float is to be returned clean and free of all horse manure otherwise the costs as indicated will be deducted from the bond.

CANCELLATION:  Must be 12 HOURS prior to booking.  Hire costs and bond will be fully reimbursed.  If outside of this, a $25 cancellation fee applies.  Please call us to discuss if you have any concerns.
